How do I know my documents are secure on SignNow?

SignNow is also SOC 2 certified, which measures a business’s non-financial reporting controls as they relate to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of a system.
What that means for you, the user, is that we will always make sure your documents are available to you. Your documents are in multiple storage locations, replicated by our system to appear exactly as you had uploaded them. We also encrypt all your documents and their data when sending them for signature. No one without access to the sending link of your documents should be able to see them.
Furthermore, we store your documents for a minimum of 7 years in the Cloud. This can be extended longer if requested by the customer.
We also offer a detailed Document History that provides an audit trail for every single one of your documents. This allows you to note any and all changes after the document has been uploaded. This includes IP Addresses for all changes, time-stamps and even unique signature IDs for all electronic signatures.
