If you’re looking to add signer authentication (password protection) to a document when you invite someone to sign, you can do that!
1. The document requires fields, since the password applies to signer roles.
2. You add that password on the very last screen in the invitation process (the one with the subject and the message), under Advanced Options.
3. From the Documents folder you can click on that person’s email address under the document and change the password (in the event that you forgot the original, for example).
NOTE: To make password protection most effective we recommend that you provide that password outside of SignNow (i.e. not in the body of the invitation email).
