What is a Digital Certificate?
A digital certificate is an authentication that allows our users to know if a document has been altered in any manner. This ensures that no tampering has occurred after your signer has completed your document.
To view the Digital Certificate, you would need to open the document in Adobe Reader. If you look under the Signature Panel, there you should be able see our digital certification. If you expand the link, you will gain more information about your document’s signing.
If a change has occurred to the document, the digital certification created by SignNow would be broken.
